S. Korea, Australia play to 1-1 draw in football friendly
In football, South Korea and Australia played to a 1-1 draw (비기기, 동점 end in a draw) on Saturday in Brisbane.
It was the Taeguk Warriors' fifth match under their new head coach, Paulo Bento of Portugal, and their fifth in a row without a loss.
The Koreans nailed ~을 붙잡다, 고정하다 their first scoring opportunity of the game in the 22nd minute with a long pass from Kim Min-jae to striker Hwang Ui-jo who put it away 밀어붙이다.
The Australians kept hammering away 몹시 애쓰다 though, and finally in stoppage time 스탑피지 연장시간 they got their equalizer. 동점골
It was a disappointment for the South Korean side who were so close to their first win abroad with their new coach.
But they'll have another chance this Tuesday, again in Brisbane, against Uzbekistan.
Both friendlies (친선경기 (friendly game ) are considered warmups 준비운동 for the Asian Cup, which starts in January in the UAE.
