My credit card didn't work

After I came to work this morning, my supervisor told me to buy something he had been ordered to buy from his boss at once. So I had to go to the store to buy it.

When I checked the bill, I was confused that my credit card was out of order. (my credit card was not working.)

The use of out of order is more commonly used for facilities, like a bathroom, kitchen, etc. Another way to say it could be my credit card is not working.

The staff of the store said your card is not allowed to pay.

The store staff said your card is not allowed to pay. (your card is declilned)

Another more common way to say this is that the card was declined. Also, you can just say cashier instead of store staff, if you were only dealing with the person checking your items.

This is so embrassing that I am about to complian about that to the customer service center of my credit card now!

This is so embarrassing! I am about to complain about this to the customer service center of my credit card now!

I think it would be better to separate this into two separate sentences.
