February 26th, 2019 My daughter's passion
As I am a mother of a student who has to enter a well-known university in Seoul in the near future, sometimes I enjoy discussing issues on the entrance examination system which is very complicated to understand.
When I was my daughter's age, I did not study hard of all time and thought that I am cut out to study. Because of my thought, I was criticized and got a lecture from my parents. Aside from this, however, my daughter is passionate about many things other than studying. For example, she won the 2nd place in the singing competition and English Speaking contest at her school last year as well as the year before last. I saw she never got nervous when confronted by audiences. -> I have never seen her get nervous when she is on the stage with huge audiences. Although she is my daughter, I am quite amazed by her passion and talent. Without a doubt, she is a talented person in many ways. So, I would like to lavish her with all that she wants and give her a chance to get diverse experiences as long as I can.
