Japan's PM Abe "regrets" Seoul's response to court verdict ruling in favor of victims of wartime forced labor
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has expressed regret over the South Korean government's response to the nation's court rulings (판결) on the wartime (전시,전시중) forced labor (노동, 근로) issue.
Addressing questions the lower house (하원) of the Japanese parliament on Wednesday, Abe said Tokyo will deal with the issue unwaveringly (흔들리지 않고, 확고한) based on international laws.
He explained this includes demanding (요구, 주장, 필요한, 부담, 촉구) an appropriate (적당한) response from Seoul.
This is the second time Abe has expressed regret over the issue since the turn of the year (해가 바뀌는 시기)
