22 local taxi companies caught refusing passengers will be suspended for 60 days starting tomorrow.
It marks  the first time a cab firm faces penalty 벌금, 벌칙 for such an offense. 위반, 위법, 죄, 모욕
A total of 3-hundred and 65 taxis have been caught refusing passengers.
The regulation bans twice its number of vehicles from operating, meaning 7-hundred-30 of them will be off duty 비번,근무중이 아닌 (on duty 당번, 근무중) for two months.
To prevent inconvenience to citizens, the cab companies will not be banned from operating at the same time, but instead, they will take turns. 교대로 하다
The Seoul Metropolitan Government will decide which cabs will work and on what time schedules.
